cool, humid weather apparently makes for a great run.
I felt strong the entire time — my legs felt like flying and I focused on my breathing and staying “comfortable” the whole time. looks like my plan worked!
Not a ton of elevation gain, but I feel a lot more confident with the hills I did have to run today. I’ve been working on picking a focus point just a couple yards out to avoid looking towards the top of the hill. It helps with the mental aspect of hills, and definitely worked well for me tonight.
now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to need a shower & some dinner. but mostly a shower (phew!).
